Global Peace Youth Corps – Philippines (GPYC)The Global Peace Youth Corps (GPYC) is the youth arm of the international Global Peace Festival movement whose headquarter is based in Washington D.C., USA. GPYC-Phils. is an affiliate of the GPF Foundation & the Global Peace Association Philippines. An international non-profit cross-cultural sector global alliance of young leaders and youth-related organizations, its main objective is to promote world peace, reduce global poverty & disease through building a global culture of service and volunteerism and celebrate young persons and programs that contribute to reconciliation, mutual respect, harmony and cooperation among the members of the whole human family, as ‘One Family under God’. In partnership with a variety of stakeholders in youth leadership development, GPYC brings together young leaders of all faiths, cultures, nationalities, and interests under a common vision and universal principles aiming to positively impact youth culture. Through its advocacy of core thematic ideals {Aspirations, Principles & Values} that enhance practical agenda for youth development, young people of all categories are influenced and could get hold of an interest to partake in peace-building efforts involving the youth sector.
