I was rescued from a farm in Pennsylvania. My foster mom noticed I was not pooping properly and took me to the vet.
They said I had an atrisia ani 4. A deformity where I had no opening to my colon and I was pooping out of my vulva. Thanks to hundreds of facebook friends I was able to get my surgery. I am almost completely healed and trying to poop the proper way. A lovely lady from Seattle is going to adopt me, so I get to travel across the US to go to my forever home.
My Foster mommy has dedicated her rescue to me by naming "Little House of Miracle's" She will keep this page open for more kitties that need special help just like me and to continue her rescue efforts. I feel blessed that she cared enough to share my story so that all my lovely facebook friends could help me live.

Back from the ER..Again!
She is doing fine. She just ate and has the space heater nearby to keep her warm. She is tired. Dr says it is just that she needs her lactolose ALL the time. Probably for the rest of her life. It will be up to us (me now and Kat later) to make sure her poop is always soft enough to come out. Avoiding an impaction or large stool. She's got a bit of the runs today from all the enemas, but she'll be fine. Apparently, I am not doing a great job with her poop management, so it cost me $379. Whoops! Sorry baby, we'll have to do better!

New Found Friends Private Animal Rescue & Rehoming Inc. is a registered charitable organization and an all domestic animal rescue group operating as a community foster care network entirely by volunteers. We are funded by public donations that are utilized solely for the benefit, upkeep & care of the animals within our foster care network. We rely on our network of volunteer foster care homes for all our rescue animals as we work to find these animals their forever homes. Our group takes in all types of domestic animal rescue cases including those that may be at risk of or facing euthanasia or abuse. We cover necessary veterinary care including micro-chipping, vaccination, general health checks & desexing (spaying or neutering).
Our aim is to reduce the number of unnecessarily euthanized domestic animals & will take on animals from other states facing euthanasia in pounds & animal shelters. We believe all domestic animals deserve loving and caring homes that are able to provide the best possible quality of life. We continue to stay in contact with all rescue adopters throughout the lifetime of the animal adopted providing advice and support to new families or take back into care any animal we place should this become necessary.
Throughout our endeavours we seek to educate the public regarding responsible pet ownership by promoting the importance of microchip identification, vaccination, local council registration & proper care & dietary practices. We also publicly promote strongly the problems of cruelty in our country in its many forms (including but not restricted to intentional & unintentional cruelty) & how to reduce these with the goal of eliminating them.
